The Blooming Process: What to Expect

Care & Color

Your piece will keep changing softly.

A MIRANIQUE surface is finished before it reaches you, but the color can continue to deepen, clear, and settle as it meets gentle light and air. We call this quiet shift the blooming process.

What you may notice.

In the first days, the surface may look slightly softer or deeper as the color settles. Highlights can become clearer. Dark areas may gain dimension. The change is usually subtle, but it is part of the material character.

This is why MIRANIQUE does not describe color as a flat code. Color is a living impression, shaped by material, surface, light, and time.

Blooming is not a flaw. It is the surface settling into its final voice.

How to care for it.

Keep the piece away from harsh chemicals, prolonged direct sun, and heavy abrasion. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Let the surface breathe in ordinary room conditions, and avoid sealing it in damp or hot spaces for long periods.

Treat the change as part of the ownership story. The object does not become less precise. It becomes more itself.
